Like Hanuman Chalisa, Sunderkand is one of the most sung poetic epic, written for lord Hanuman, an epitome of bravery and fearlessness. This beautiful compilation comprises unique narration of Sunderkand, in which there is full text of epic with its meaning. The Sunderkand is originally written in Awadhi language. Doha is given in red big font while chopai is in small black font with its numbers. Then given is its translation in three languages – Gujarati, Hindi and English. This ‘Sunderkand’ contains 35 paintings painted by Isha Majithia, with acrylic colours, crayons, ink and charcoal. Isha Majithia started to paint for this book while she was 6 in October 2012 and completed in March 2016. She has named every picture with stanza from Sunderkand. This pictorial documentation of a scripture like Sunderkand is Bharat’s first project undertaken by a young girl. This coffee table book Sunderkand highly inspires kids to explore their creativity.
